A short film produced by Susan Middleton, directed and edited by Leonard Feinstein, reveals the spectacular diversity of hermit crabs.

HERMIT CRABS! opens with photographer Susan Middleton on set with a live anemone hermit crab.  The film, narrated by Susan Middleton and marine invertebrate specialist Scott Godwin, features over 40 portraits of hermit crabs while describing their evolutionary history, lifecycle, adaptive strategies and threats to their survival.
